Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Handball

Prism7 Resourcing are looking for an experienced hands on Counterbalance Forklift driver.

This role is a Temp - Perm after 2/3 weeks of temporary work. Our client is looking for a Counterbalance FLT however you will be handballing 95% of the time. Therefore you must be open to warehouse work with limited use of the forklift.

Our client will actively offer you a full time contract after 2/3 weeks pending you are happy with the above. Full time contract hours are between 25-30k depending on performance in the temporary period of 2/3 weeks.

Role -

- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and products
- General warehouse duties such as lifting, picking, wrapping pallets ready for dispatch
- Stack and organize materials and products in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- General house keeping duties of the warehouse

Requirements -
- Valid forklift operator certification or license
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting
- Warehouse experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying of heavy objects
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
