Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative

Prism-7 Resourcing are looking for a Counterbalance Forklift driver/Handballer to work with our client on a Temp - Perm basis in Basildon.

Role –

- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and products
- Must also contribute towards general warehouse duties such as lifting, picking, wrapping pallets ready for dispatch
- Stack and organize materials and products in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- General housekeeping duties of the warehouse

Requirements -
- Valid counterbalance forklift operator or license
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting
- Warehouse experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying of heavy objects
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Shift and Salary.

• Monday to Friday 7:30AM-17:30PM
• £11.50 ph
• Potential optional overtime
• Start date: 15th of January 2024.

Job Type: Temp to perm

Salary: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
