WHAT HAPPENED LAST YEAR
2022 was our comeback! We stuck it out through Covid-19 and remained in good health with our clients. The industrial and driving industries became even busier during the pandemic and we were there to help keep our candidates and clients connected and up to date with latest regulations. This steady growth enabled us to open a new office in Rainham and we hired a small team to start building relationships with new local clients. The team hit the ground running and secured some of our biggest clients to date.
Our continued growth created more opportunities and promotions!
KAM JOINS THE TEAM
Kam Gupta: Recruitment Consultant – Industrial and Driving Desk, Rainham.
Kam has a wealth of recruitment and business development experience. She joined us to help start up the Rainham office alongside Sonny. Kam is a dedicated consultant who always has time for her clients and candidates no matter how big or small the topic. Outside of work Kam loves to cook for her family, experimenting with colourful spices and new dishes. She has an 11-year-old son who also keeps her busy! Welcome to the team, Kam.
KYLIE JOINS THE TEAM
Kylie Stratford: Branch Support – Basildon.
Since leaving the Royal Navy where she served on HMS Montrose, Kylie gained recruitment experience from a leading secretarial consultancy in 2017 where she discovered her passion as a permanent Consultant. She knows the full 360 role and joined us in July 2022. She works 4 days per week to support the team with compliance, payroll, marketing, and candidate & client care. On her day off she is running around after her 1-year-old son! Great to have you on board Kylie!
ALINA JOINS THE TEAM
Alina Patrichi – Recruitment Consultant and Account Manager – Industrial and Driving Desk, Rainham.
Alina is new to recruitment but certainly knows the role inside out! After just a few months spent account managing she was promoted to Recruitment Consultant. Alina is successfully growing her desk and enjoying the rewards. Alina is extremely hardworking and has high expectations of herself, she is a pleasure to work with and her positive vibes are infectious! Welcome to the team, Alina.
SONNY BECAME REGIONAL MANAGER
Sonny Jones: Regional Manager – Basildon and Rainham.
Sonny originally joined the company in 2020 as a Senior Consultant but quickly found his true talent in business development. After spending most of his time out meeting with new clients and bringing them aboard, he was offered a promotion to Regional Manager in 2022. Sonny now manages both branches whilst continuing to work hard on the business development. Outside of work, Sonny is a devoted Dad to his 7-year-old daughter and enjoys going to the gym when he gets a chance!
SOPHIE JOINS THE TEAM
Sophie Donovan: Senior Recruitment Consultant – Industrial Desk, Basildon.
Sophie is a real go getter! She has 6 years of industrial temp and perm recruitment experience. She grew an extremely successful industrial desk and became a true asset to her previous employer. Sophie needed a new challenge alongside her commitment to the gym! She joined us in January this year to manage and grow the industrial desk in our Basildon branch. Good luck Sophie!
OTHER NEWS
Remote ID Check
The remote ID check is a new legal requirement for UK and Irish residents to approve their right to work in the UK. This works via a link which we send to all new starters where they are required to take a photo of their passports and then a quick video of their face looking to the right and then to the left. This will then be sent back for approval. If the candidate does not have a valid passport, they will then be invited into the office with their birth certificate where we will take a photo of them holding the document.
More exciting news! Due to our continued growth and success, we are now looking into more office space in a new location with a brand new team. Watch this space!
